I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected. We often forget how certain areas of our life may affect our health and well-being such as stress, lack of exercise, lack of restful sleep, our relationships, our careers, and the list goes on. There are simple changes we can make to improve our health even if it is just doing a few breathing exercises a day or being mindful of the things we do and feed our bodies with.
My approach does not dwell on rules and regulations, what you can or cannot eat, what type of exercise you must do to keep in shape, etc.. Instead, I work with my clients to create a plan that is catered specifically to each individual's wants and needs. I don't believe that there can be long-term success in a exercise or diet routine that is complicated, using expensive tools or ingredients, or out of the individuals range of motion physically. This is your life. You are meant to enjoy it. It is very do-able to live a happy life that is also a healthy one. My goal is to alter the idea that being healthy is boring, expensive or too hard to achieve because I am living proof that it is not.
